The Southern Cherokee Nation of Kentucky (SCNK) is NOT a Federally recognized tribe.
We are a Tribe with state recognition holdings from the State of Kentucky and a registered non-profit corporation in the State of Kentucky holding a 501-C standing, with no members. It is administered by four (4) directors, who are elected by the Southern Cherokee Nation of Kentucky Tribal National Council. It has a mission in supporting the SCNK as well as other select Native activities.
Any and all donations (monetary or needed items) should be made payable to SCNK Inc, and in return the donor will receive the necessary documentation needed to file for full (100%) tax exemption purposes. You may also designate the purposes for the expenditures of your donation.

There is no individual ownership, and there shall be no individual disbursements to any individual or any group of individuals that leave the tribe.
